We've got several new items in the store for you to add to your Star Wars autograph collection.

We managed to pick up some "loose end" autographs, such as Jake Lloyd, Daniel Logan and Mary Oyaya, as well as old favorites Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels and Jeremy Bulloch.

Take a look and see that's available!

So, items should be back with us in a couple of weeks, at which time we'll get them shipped out to everyone who's ordered.

GARY X TALKS AUTOGRAPHS AND EWOKS IN DALLAS
February 14 | Gary X

One of my own guilty pleasures is a relatively new weekly podcast put together by husband and wife team of Arnie and Marjorie C from Springfield, Illinois. They're celebrating six months of weekly shows and I gotta admit I love their "laid back" presentation (not to mention that they're a real husband and wife duo who enjoy Star Wars collecting). I did an interview with them this past weekend in Dallas about Wattographs, Star Wars autographs and the Connoisseur Series which I had a good time participating with. We're going to be having an autograph contest in conjunction with them, but I won't spoil it here...you'll have to listen to get the details...

"Star Wars Action News has been on the air for six months now, and we bring you our most geographically ambitious episode to date!  Arnie and Marjorie went to Dallas, TX to have a wonderful steak, and it just so happened Anthony Daniels was signing autographs at the Sci Fi Expo Fan Day in Richardson, TX.  They discuss the finds (or lack thereof) on the drive from Illinois to Texas, and interview Gary X from Wattographs at the con."

You can listen to their podcast HERE. Thanks for the kind words, Arnie and Marjorie -- I look forward to more fun things with you!

DALLAS ANTHONY DANIELS REPORT
February 13 | Gary X

"So, I'm finally back from Dallas with our Anthony Daniels' signing! It was a quick trip, with me flying down to Dallas on Friday and back on Sunday...needless to say, one gets pretty tired even on a SHORT trip like this one!

The event was a "Fan Day," put on by the Dallas Sci-Fi Expo/Dallas Comic Con. These events are put on by Ben Stevens, who runs Official Pix and he definitely knows how to put an event together. Major conventions could take a lesson from him. The event was at the Richardson Events Centre in Richardson, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. It was a one-day, no-admission event."

NEW SMALLER OFFICIAL PIX LABELS
February 13 | Gary X

Official Pix has changed the labels which appear on each photograph they sell. The prismatic circular label has gone from 1.25" down to an inch. While it's not a huge difference, when seen in context, it is actually pretty noticeable compared side-by-side with the old label.

I had a chance to speak with Ben Stevens of Official Pix, who showed me the new labels, which will be used from now on. He indicated that photos which are already in stock previous to the new label's debut will probably have the larger labels until that stock is depleted.

Initially, I was pretty critical of the labels on the front, when OP first started offering officially-licensed photographs. After seeing them in person last year, I realized that scans or digital pictures of the label only make them look unattractive. These labels actually add some panache to the images and they only say "Star Wars Officially Licensed Photograph." There is no other "advertising in the label. Official Pix will continue to keep their company name in very small print in the lower right hand corner of the images, which also has the required Lucasfilm copyright information.
